Immersive home does'nt show Instagram

Hi, i have seen videos of people using the new immersive home and using an instagram app that is stuck in the wall, it should appear alongside the mirror in the "objects" section if i'm not mistaken, i have updated to v81 in my meta quest 3, however i only see the mirror in the objects section, why can't i see the instagram window? is this happening to anyone else?

Hi fasthox πŸ™‚

Hmm, it was automatically in my immersive home after the update to v81 and I had to unistall Instagram to get rid of it.

I'm not sure what happens if you are to young (age restrictions)......maybe it won't show up in the object section?πŸ€”

Otherwise try the update tool, maybe your update wasn't go through properly.

Huh. I just reinstalled Instagram to see what would happen. The app appeared on my Immersive Home wall, but it said "something went wrong, try again". Maybe because I don't have an Instagram account, so I can't log in? 😁. Restarting headset didn't fix it. Anyway, I clicked the left menu button and then clicked "Remove" for the Instagram portal. It disappeared. Then I tried to add the portal back, and it appears that this is bugged and the portal wouldn't reappear until I powered the headset off and onπŸ™ƒ.

If the mirror in the objects section says "Install in library", then you must install the Instagram app first. Otherwise, if the object shows the "Remove" option, but it's not appearing on the wall, you need to power your headset off and on.

You may be right, maybe I'm the one who misunderstood? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

If they don't see the Instagram object at all in the menu, then maybe it hasn't been rolled out to them yet.
