Question

Meta Quest Controller IR Diode

Hello, does anyone know what kind of IR LEDs are in the controller? My son broke the housing and the LED. Are they still available for purchase? Or is the entire ribbon cable available? Thanks

    Hi Mkoval1 🙂

You can buy the ribbon cables on ebay, Ali Express and so on.

Yes, I know, the strips are available for purchase. However, maybe I can find a suitable diode. It'll be faster to replace it than the entire strip. I'm asking because I couldn't find anything online.

Mkoval1 Coincidentally, a friend of mine had the same issue and couldn't find just the diode either, ended up getting the strip. It's a nuisance but everything seems to be modular these days. Good luck!
