My headset is silent even after factory reset

My headset shows a floppy disk when I turn it on.  I’ve tried every trick known from both bootloaders to factory reset.  I get a blank screen.  Every 2 weeks it comes on for a few. I set it up then back to black screen.   I’m thinking about taking it apart.  Something tells me it has to do with the lenses.  Now I can see all other things i.e the Meta M. The bootloaders and such. So wtf can’t I see.  Have you tried all these options…. Holding downs the volume up and power till you get the big bootloaders screen?

Hey Reginald14,

Your post about this audio issue with your headset caught our attention, and we would like to have a look into this for you.

We have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try, however ideally, we would like to get speaking to you in DM's, as we may need some details we wouldn't want you to share in a public space.

Please check out the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Ensure the volume is not muted or turned down too low
2. Try headphones to see if there is audio
3. Test with multiple games/apps
4. Reboot the headset

If you could let us know how this goes for you, and if you're still facing issue please give us a shout over on DM, so we can investigate further!

All the best.
