My headset seems dead after the update

Good evening, friends!

Yesterday I used my Meta Quest 3S normally. When I turned it off, I received an update. It took a long time to finish, wrapping up with about 40 percent battery left. I left it charging until the LED turned green, but today when I went to use it, nothing worked.

Nothing appears on the screen, I plugged in the charger and the LED does not light up in any color, I switched outlets and still nothing. I tried holding the power button down for longer than usual, with no success. I tried holding Power and Volume Down together, and nothing. I even tried accessing it with a cable using the PC software, and it did not work.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Hey friends, I tried holding Power and Volume Down again, but this time I kept holding much more time. After about 3 minutes, the recovery screen finally popped up. After that, the screen stayed black for about 40 seconds, and then it automatically performed a auto restoration. Now everything is back to normal. Sorry for the post, and thank you all for your attention.

Rph0112 Delighted you got it working again.. It would be a nightmare having to send it back. Hopefully people will see it and if they have the same issue they can fix it. Can you mark your comment as "solved".? It means others will find it easily. And Well done! 👍👍👍
