my Instagram account has been disabled
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out because my Instagram account was suddenly disabled, and I noticed that some of you have experienced a similar issue.
My Instagram username is @zhr_biscuit.
On November 5, 2026, while I was using Instagram normally, I was suddenly asked to verify my identity by entering my phone number and confirming a verification code. After that, Instagram requested a video selfie to confirm that I am a real person and not a bot.
I completed the video selfie verification and submitted my appeal. However, after approximately an hour, I received a notification stating that my account had been permanently disabled.
When I checked the explanation, Instagram only stated that its technology had detected activity that violated its Community Standards. No specific violation, post, comment, or activity was identified. It also stated that I could no longer request another review.
I have never intentionally violated Instagram’s Community Standards. I do not post hateful content, promote violence, impersonate anyone, or engage in spam or fraudulent activity. My account mainly contains personal interests, quotes, and videos.
I am extremely confused and disappointed because I believe this may have been an automated mistake.
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced the same situation, especially anyone who managed to recover their account after completing a video selfie verification.
I will attach screenshots of the verification request, the appeal confirmation, and the final disabling decision.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I genuinely hope we can find a solution .
