Question

my quest pro bricked after update

after the update, the screens started turning off after some time and so every time, updating through the update Meta Quest software website does not help, I have already tried 2 times, I had almost the same symptoms once, I waited for the next update, then updated through the website and after that it worked.

video of the problem:

I have the EXACT same issue and i've seen other people post it too. Already bought another high quality cable so that can not be the issue.

I'm fine if Meta solves this in the next update, but it would be nice if they acknowledge this issue so we know we have to wait for a while.

Mushnid  Have at least tried a Factory Reset?  BTW, my +3.5yo QPro updated to the latest non-ptc v2.4 and meta link to latest non-beta.  All's working fine for me with standalone and PCVR using Link cable and wireless with Air Link and Virtual Desktop.  Good luck sorting this out mate and cheers.

So, you don't say if you've tried doing a factory reset with your Quest Pro?  This is pretty easy to do.  From Google;

To factory reset your Meta Quest Pro, turn off the headset, then press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until the boot/update screen appears. Use the volume buttons to highlight Factory Reset and press the Power button to select and confirm.A factory reset permanently deletes your account info, downloaded games, and device data, but purchases remain tied to your Meta account.

You can also reset the headset via the Meta Horizon app by going to Menu > Devices > Headset Settings > Advanced Settings > Factory Reset

I hope this helps mate.  Cheers.
