Question

New Bug: Player is different place then player sees

I haven't made a report yet, forgot what buttons to press to do the report (thought is what ab, now wondering if its press all 4 buttons and hold).

Pretty much other players see me in a different position then I am. So they try to shoot at me, and it goes right through me, but if they aim to the side where I actually am it will hit me.

Made a video of them shooting where they see me, which is away from me and miss, and then I tell them where to turn to actually get a hit.

Not fully sure but I think my collision was off as well, like I was running into wall a little earlier then it should have, but can't guarantee on this part.

I forgot to ask but should have asked if bullets are shooting from a different location and is my avatar aiming at them correctly.

To report a bug press ABXY (VR) or F1 (DE)

Ya, I kind of wondered but didn't think of it until much later, like already got off.
But thank you for confirming so I know next time.

I'll try to submit next time I jump on.
I'll just do the ABXY in same world and then say this happened a previous day (late report).

Hello!

Here is our process for submitting a bug report: Support and Bug Reporting.

What process did you follow to try implementing physics collision? We also have a best practices page for physics here: Physics Best Practices.

Please let me know if this helps.

It was in Super Rumble in VR (Dec 13,), and it does not seem to be world specific but a meta bug. No clue how to reproduce, my guess is it happens when player is loading in.

I say this because the other users were seeing me in a slightly different position (maybe a few feet, 3-7 feet) then I was. Since we have no control over that, likely is just a meta bug.

Thanks for the link to Support and Bug Reporting I'll try to follow that depending on how much time I have.

Ah, my apologies, I assumed you were creating a world!

Yes, you can report this issue in world: Report a problem with Meta Quest.

The original link I sent you was for reporting for Creators while they are making worlds.
