Oculus App getting stuck on 2.18gb out of 2.19gb

So i have a Rift S, and when i try to download the oculus setup, it gets stuck on 2.18gb out of 2.19gb, and ive tried everything, i have way more than needed space on my drives, ive tried turning on and off my network adapter, i tried using a vpn, nothing works and i dont know why, please help.

I just purchased my Meta quest 3 for the first time and my experience was bad. Same thing, I want to install the app and it remains at 2.18GB/2.19GB. Now I won't be able to experience the VRs because I can't pair my right controller (S.O.S flashing light).

sos flashing light usually means you have to get a new controller, for mine it did that and no matter what i did it didnt fix it, a friend told me it meant some of the wires were messed up.

The problem is that my Quests were hardly ever used and are brand new. Impossible for them to have been screwed up without use.

Would be nice for someone from meta to confirm the issue is on their side and provide a timeline for the fix.

Can confirm I'm dealing with the same issue: stopping at 2.18gb and eventually failing. It actually worked this morning with an executable I downloaded in May, and my connection is fine, so this appears to be an issue on Meta's side.

(I have to repair my install every time I boot my computer, so I'm pretty familiar with the process. 😐)

I downloaded a new installer, confirmed the Link app was uninstalled, rebooted my Windows 11 computer, and tried again: same result.

This is blocking me from doing my work. 😑

A friend of mine sent me a older executable but it didn't work. looks like we just have to wait this one out

I tried to contact Meta they did say it is an issue on going and being investigated

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I decided to do a repair since the update wasn't working properly and now it's doing the stuck thing 😞 Hope it gets fixed soon
