Oculus quest 1 apply update stuck

Hi got a used oculus quest one it was factory reset and when I set it up with new account it set update 1 of 2 will restart now its been 4 hours still saying the same thing help

    Hey guys, I fixed mine. When stuck in updating scene, I first opened the mobile app, clicked on factory reset (that made my headset disconnect from the app and do another factory reset), connected again the app and finally started updating. The problem is yet the poor performance to boot in the os and to boot games, maybe the system is corrupted in some kind? idk.

    Hi I am having the same issue, my headset won’t update with the second update but also when setting up in the app I can’t get past the health and safety screen! Any help would be great.

      Hi,
      Recently Bought a Quest 3 for replacement of my old quest 1 to give it to my child.
      I do Factory reset for cleaning all thing last for all of this year of use.
      But I am exactly where all of people are .... stuck in pairing the device, with this eternal message :

      "update 1 of 2 is complete. continue in the meta quest app"

      Try everything listing in tips here... try with another smartphone, another wifi, do a couple of factory reset of the Quest 1 .... nothing .... Stuck in here ....

      That's a pinch of eart that the device is not working ... love it so ....

      I just got a second hand Quest 1 to step into PCVR, and its showing the same issue as the people in this thread have. It seems people stop posting when the problem is solved with a private pm message to Support. What is the solution? My app is stuck at the safety page, and the quest is stuck on update 1 of 2. I also tried the mentioned solutions above, and factory reset. Any support on this is appreciated. Regards Lucas van Rennes

      I also found an older version in the forum, not sure if its the same, however it also worked and i could update the quest. Also i got it working with pc vr . E.g. Flight Simulator 2024 and steam vr. It did not work on a usb 3 connection, it constantly disconnected, using usb C it stayed connected, although oculus link tested it as ok. I could also just use the headset to download content from meta. I wasnt using the latest app btw for that,il i think it should work, since all updates are done.
