oculus wont turn on or charge

Hi qv.wokz,

We want you to have the best possible time in the Metaverse, but currently your Meta Quest 3 only charges when it is turned off and the battery drain quickly when in use. We really appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you have attempted so far.

Please attempt the following troubleshooting steps:

- Please use the provided power adapter to charge the headset.

- If the headset is warm to the touch, then please disconnect the charging cable and allow the headset to cool before trying to charge the headset again.

- Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect battery charging or consume power (such as external battery packs, external fans, etc.)

- Attempt to charge the headset for 2 hours.

- When used, Oculus will consume power faster than it can charge. The headset must be left powered off or in a sleep state during charging.

- Computer USB ports will not provide sufficient power to charge the headset, resulting in a very slow charge or failure to charge at all. The headset must be connected to a wall outlet using the provided power adapter

- If you have another power adapter (such as from a second headset), then please try the other power adapter.

- If you are using the Elite Strap with Battery or any third-party accessories, then disconnect these and try charging the headset again.

- Try charging from a different source (another wall outlet), preferably one on a different circuit.

- If using a splitter, power bar, or extension cord try removing it and plug directly into the wall outlet.

- See if the headset will load the boot screen and then exit out:

1. Hold the power and volume (-) buttons on the headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads

2. Exit and reboot the headset
