Quest 3 Display Issues

Hello combat__pug,

It looks like you might be running into a bit of trouble with your new Meta Quest 3 headset, especially with the lenses, where it seems like you may have received two left ones. That definitely sounds frustrating, and we’re here to help you get it sorted as Quickly as possible.

This is likely a software or hardware issue where the headset isn't properly separating the left and right eye views. You can try the following steps to see if they help:

• Restart your headset: Turn it off and on again. A simple restart can often resolve minor glitches.
• Check for software updates: Make sure your headset's operating system and all your games are updated to their latest versions.
• Clean the lenses: Ensure the lenses are clean and free of smudges, as this can sometimes cause visual distortions.
• Adjust the headset's fit: Make sure the headset is sitting correctly on your head. A poor fit can affect the display, but this is less likely to cause an issue as severe as seeing the wrong eye's image in both eyes.

Potential fixes

• Adjust the pupillary distance (IPD): The IPD setting is crucial for getting a clear, 3D image. Adjust it to match the distance between your pupils.
• Check game-specific settings: Since H3VR works perfectly, the issue might be specific to the other games you're playing. Look for a "monocular vision" or "eye swap" setting within those games' menus.

Once you've performed those steps, please let us know the result. We can then decide what to do if the problem continues
