Quest 3 v85 Immersive Youtube Chat No Longer Working

I stream VR on youtube frequently and use the immersive youtube chat box in the camera app to interact with my chat while im live. Since the v85 software update released 2 weeks ago i have not been able get the chat to work anymore. i have tried every solution including factory resetting as well as logging into my youtube on the browser app while trying to launch the camera app chat box. nothing works, and i can no longer stream. I believe it is an api issue with the new update that just hasn't been reported.

Several people have reported issues with screen sharing etc while using chat in v85. Report the problem via the headset Quick Settings>Report Problem.

I'm having what might be the same issue, but on the latest Meta horizon OS update which I think is 2.1. they asked me to take a video of the problem, if you want to look at it it's here:

https://youtu.be/nAbZh2hdh-4?si=FknAblFF7AGEs0bL

Before I made this video, the problem I was having is that the camera app had my channel handle remembered and so it would try to open the live chat, but it would just open a window with a picture of a monkey that says something went wrong. I've tried everything to fix it.

One of the things chatgpt suggested that I do was uninstall the camera app using ADB commands, and then reinstall it. I did that, and then it was like starting from new, it would ask me to enter the channel handle, but no matter what channel handle I put in, when I click the magnifying glass to search, there is a little search progress wheel that appears for a split second and then disappears, so it can never find any channel.

I think in my case it had some stale information about my channel so I needed to enter it again, but searching for channels in the go live option of the camera just doesn't work at all for me for YouTube channels.

Chatgpt suggested that meta might have broken the compatibility between the recent OS updates and the back end service that the camera app uses to search for YouTube channels so that the search just immediately fails without any error message.

I have a to get open and they say they will email me when they have some information but they couldn't give any kind of timeline. The live chat support person had no clue or advice to try.

Chatgpt says that a lot of people are having this problem with the recent meta horizon OS updates. Chatgpt thinks that it is a bug and that it may or may not get fixed because it may not be a high priority feature for meta. I think meta cares more about live streaming to Facebook than YouTube since Facebook is their platform. It even hinted that the live chat feature for YouTube was never well supported in the first place.
