Question

Quest 3s controller problem

I accidentally dropped my left controller in a bucket of water. I immediately took out the battery and dried it as much as I can. Later i went to see if it was working and my controller didnt turn on but it said the controller was connected. Does anyone know what i should do to get it working again?

    VR fishing? 😁

Almost as bad as the person that accidentally put their headset in the washing machine🤦‍♂️.

PS. What's with the multiple posts?

I heard that if you open the battery hatch and then immerse the controller in a bowl of rice (uncooked of course) it can remove moisture from inside the device. I remember dropping my phone years ago into the swimming pool, before there was water resistance on them. It was totally non functioning but after a few days it came back to life. Give it a try maybe.

I would suggest disassembling the controller as much as practical and then drying it out slowly and carefully with a hair dryer.
