"Quick settings" page has disappeared

Good evening,

After recently deciding to foray into the world of VR (as a 60+yr old), I am having real problems with setting up my Quest 2.

I have tried to follow YouTube tutorial pages, in which several show a "Quick Settings page, which I cannot pin down. All I am getting on my headset is a page that advertises various games and Icons for Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Settings, Browsers etc .

I have ensured that the Quest is current with updates

If anyone can advise, I'd appreciate it.  Also, I am not very IT literate, I tend to use my PC for only the basics; e-mails, Amazon etc, so please provide any guidance in basic terms.
