RX9060XT 16gb Oculus Rift CV1 Issues

Hey guys! I recently upgraded from an RX580 2048SP 8gb to the RX9060XT 16GB, upon installing the new drivers for the 9060XT my Rift CV1 no longer.... well, works properly

i plug it in and set it all up, the oculus dashboard launches perfectly fine and loads my guardian, everything tracks perfectly fine! but if i go to launch any game (a game installed via meta PC app, steam vr, etc) then my entire PC hangs and i have to hold down the power button to restart my PC.

im not running higher pixel density, even if i was my GPU should be more than capable of handling it.

rest of my system specs:

CPU- Ryzen 5 9600X 6 Cores 12 Threads 5.4GHz boost AM5

GPU- Asus DUAL RX9060XT 16GB

RAM- 32gb (2*16gb) 5600MT/s CL36 DDR5

SSD- Crucial P3 Plus gen 4 NVMe 1tb

i tried putting back in the old GPU and it worked fine, then i put back in the 9060XT (so both the RX580 2048SP drivers and the 9060XT drivers are installed a once) and i was able to actually play beatsaber through steam vr!! but then i turned everything off, unplugged my headset, and now im back to square one... PLEASE HELP!!!

You haven't given the specs of your power supply, which I'm a bit suspicious of.

    Do non-VR games run OK?

    Are you overclocking anything?

I have a Deep cool 80+ Gold 850W ATX 3.1 fully modular PSU and I am not overclocking anything. Non-VR runs perfectly fine, infact I can run Cyberpunk 2077 medium preset with path tracing at 1080p without any frame gen at a comfortable frame rate.

From my many debugging attempts, I THINK it might be a compatibility issue? My Meta Quest 3s 128gb works perfectly fine with my PC, but the CV1 doesn't work properly. I'm thinking the RX9060XT is just too recent for the CV1 to work correctly or something

Hmm. Well, given that the GPU does all the rendering, I don't really see any reason why the CV1 should have any trouble. But if Link works fine with the Quest 3s, then it does seem to be the case. But maybe it's a GPU driver or Link setting issue. Have you tried enabling/disabling Asynchronous Spacewarp using Oculus Debug Tool? Some AMD cards have had issues with that setting.
