Unable to verify payment method

I’m trying to make my son a account I’ve made mine when I go to the family centre to my my child’s it’s asking for bank details wich I’m putting in but with all my cards it’s saying unable to verify payment method so it won’t let me make my child’s account can anyone help please

    As far as i know, it uses an existing card on your account for the veification. So, if you haven't add a payment method on your account yet, do this first.

    When you use this card to verify the child account, it gets charged and refunded with a small amount of money - this can take up to three days - in this time, you simply get an error message, without any explanation what went wrong..... it's really confusing🤪
