USB debugging access
Hello Meta Support Team,
I am having a problem with USB debugging authorization on my Meta Quest headset.
I would like to know whether there is an official way to enable or permanently grant USB debugging access without having to confirm the popup inside the headset every time.
My setup:
- Windows 11 Pro
- Meta VR Developer Hub version 6.6.0
- ADB version 1.0.41
- ADB Auto Enable v3 installed on the headset
USB debugging works when the headset is connected via USB. I have also successfully enabled wireless ADB.
The wireless connection works using the command:
adb connect 192.168.178.50:41491
The command adb devices then correctly lists the wireless device as device, even after disconnecting the USB cable.
However, Meta VR Developer Hub still reports the device as unauthorized when USB is disconnected.
My questions:
- Is there an official way to grant USB debugging authorization permanently without the confirmation popup?
- Can Meta VR Developer Hub recognize an already authorized wireless ADB connection using a manually assigned IP address and port?
- Is there a recommended solution for this situation?
I would appreciate a technical explanation or a recommended solution.
Thank you for your help.
