If you're connecting to your Oculus account through your Facebook profile, you may be directed to 2Factor authentication. For this, you may need to use Code Generator in the settings section of the Facebook application. Remember, if you are asked for a code every time you log in, you can enter your Code Generator code in the Facebook app.

How to put code on headset

MetaStoreHelp

Community Manager

Hey there, coolkidvr1789! We'd be happy to help you add your pairing code so you can get to enjoy VR ASAP!

Please try the following steps:

Open the Meta Quest mobile app on a compatible mobile device. If the mobile app hasn't been installed already, it can downloaded using the links below:
- Google Play
- Apple App Store
After opening the Meta Quest mobile app, if it has not already been setup, continue the setup process, which includes:
- Signing into a Meta account
- Setting up a VR profile
- Adjusting preferences and privacy settings
- Creating a store PIN
- Adding payment information
Once the account setup steps listed above are completed, the app may prompt you to select a headset. If not prompted automatically, go to Menu > Devices on the mobile app. Select the headset.
- If the headset isn't listed, make sure that the mobile device has Bluetooth turned on. If the headset still does not appear, uninstall and then re-install the Meta Quest mobile app.
On the next screen, tap Pair. The headset will either pair automatically or ask for the pairing code that was displayed in the headset.
After the headset is paired, tap Wi-Fi or Controller Issues? and select the issue that you're having.
Follow the remaining steps displayed in the Meta Quest mobile app to resolve the issue.

Please let us know if the steps helped. Or, if you are still needing some assistance, we're more than happy to assist!

Where do I find my five digit code

Community Manager

Hi there,

We just popped by to offer a helping hand.

If the initial setup is already complete, the pairing code will be found within the headset by going to Settings > System > About.

If you are in the process of doing the initial setup, check the following, and it should display the code.

Make sure the headset is on when setting up the Horizon app.
If the headset is not listed, make sure that the mobile phone has Bluetooth turned on.
Make sure that the headset and mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
If the headset still does not appear, uninstall and then re-install the Meta Horizon mobile app.

Let us know how you get on, or if you need any further help.

Thanks!
