Infinite link update

My link software for the best couple days has had a "update" and it's completely bricked my whole software i can't connect or anything everytime it finishes downloading on step 1 it restarts the app and crashes then repeats over and over.

That’s the classic infinite Link update loop, the updater cache is usually corrupted.

Fix that has worked for me most of the time:

  1. Uninstall Meta Horizon Link completely
  2. Delete leftover folders:
    • C:\Program Files\Oculus
    • C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Oculus
    • C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Oculus
  3. Reboot PC
  4. Download a fresh installer from Meta and reinstall

If it still loops, temporarily disable antivirus/firewall during install as they often block the driver update and cause the crash/restart cycle.
