I reported the issue to Meta and they are working on it.

WORKAROUND SOLUTION: DISCONNECT INTERNET CABLE, CONNECT LINK TO PC, RECONNECT INTERNET CABLE. ALTERNATIVELY, CREATE A WINDOWS FIREWALL RULE TO BLOCK OUTBOUND CONNECTIONS FOR OculusDash.exe

I have the same issue with the Oculus Quest 2. I think all devices have the same problem. The temporary fix is to disconnect your internet connection, link your device to your PC, and then reconnect your PC to the internet. It works for me. It's definitely a Meta Connect problem.

Hi,

I can confirm that I have exactly the same issue after the latest Meta Quest update.

I’m using Meta Quest 3 / 3S with Link cable. The PC detects the headset correctly, the Meta app opens without errors, but when launching PC View / Quest Link it stays loading indefinitely and never enters the VR environment.

I’ve already tried:

Forcing the dedicated GPU (RTX) in Windows

Changing bitrate (200–300 Mbps) in Oculus Debug Tool

Restarting Oculus services / PC

Changing USB ports and cable

Updating NVIDIA drivers

Nothing fixes it. It was working perfectly before the update, so this strongly points to a widespread Meta / Quest Link software bug introduced in the latest update.

I see that many users are affected. An official confirmation or a temporary workaround would be appreciated while this gets fixed.

JavierB18  there is a workaround ....disconnecting the pc from internet bevor linking the Quest

An official confirmation

If you read the comments in this thread - it's not a long oneπŸ˜‰ - you'll see that meta is aware of this issue and working on it.

The reason for the issue is probably not a bug, it seems the link servers are down.

Turn off wifi on your pc and headset. Then restart the horizon link app (or kill the OSV service in task manager and reopen link app). Then try and connect with LINK cable.
