Controller idea (Just a thought)

I just had an idea (maybe it's not even new, but I didn't hear anything about this up untill now).

We all know the problem with haptic feedback, especially in shooter games.
Of course, there're many solutions with reproduced guns. But if you change the gun in the game, you still have the same "feeling" in your hand which can be strange sometimes.

My Idea: add a small weight and make it automatically adjustable.
You could automatically change the balance point, according to the weapon you holding in the game.
If this mechanism is fast enough you could even simulate the rebound from the shooting.
This would be much nicer than just the wellknown rumble systems.

If this is already well known and used in some products - just ignore this post.
But I just had to write it down.

The key to typed sarcasm is using silly adjectives, like zero safety. Though in all seriousness an accurate omnidirectional thruster would easily solve all sense of touch and resistance felt through a gripped controller. Except for the burning sensation, that would be extra.

Imagine hanging from a harness with 8 wires, 4 wires to control, 4 wires for feedback. Like a paragliding harness. When you lean forward you move forward, you will also feel like moving since your body will be slightly out of balance. Lean a little to a side and you will move to that side. This is a movement solution that will create real feelings for motion without needing a huge platform and wont even require a handheld device. The other 4 wires will be the feedback. Inducing things like recoil, bumps hits and the like. This would also be super cheap to make. Any takers out there?

The haptics reactive grip for the razer hydra is basically what you are describing.

    Tips for free <3

Now to improve on that concept of walmarts Shake weight + Haptics. Add a frontal weight for redistribution.
Maybe a Vibrator Motor from a phone. Now it feels real.

You didn't know this existed im assuming. Now you know how to improve an already genius design.

    Thanks for the post friend.
