DK2 USB accessory bandwidth?

Can anyone from Oculus comment on the bandwidth and power available over the DK2 "accessory port"? I'm interested in running some cameras through it to avoid needing a second cable.

I think it's "USB 3.0" minus slight amounts of data that the Rift does.

i will look for the page i saw that it was 2.0 at most for usb slot as it is currently in the pre-order

http://www.oculus.com/dk2/ found it.. search for USB

which is probably ok as you're probably not using it for data transfers.. but why not spend the few cents extra and make them usb 3.0?

    I was wondering the same.

Also, is there any power provided with this port?

And could this be use as a replicator or only to interface directly to the Oculus ?
