Getting rid of health and safety warning

What is the proper way to get rid of the health and safety warning in Unity?
In OVRDevice.cs, I tired commenting out this:

if (HMD != null && Input.anyKeyDown && HMD.GetHSWDisplayState().Displayed)
HMD.DismissHSWDisplay();

and adding this to the end of Awake():

HMD.DismissHSWDisplay();

But that only works in the Editor but in the standalone version the head tracking stops working and the warning is not removed.

    After you set the environment variable, did you go into the advanced options in the Config Util and turn it off?

    windows 7 64 bit

    it doesnt work anymore, definitely.

    its a 4.4 thing for sure, it was working fine in 4.3 with the dword or string value regedit.

    have tried 3 different systems, windows 7 32, 64 and 64

    as in the option doesnt appear in the advanced menu.

    Do you see the checkbox in the advanced settings of the config util?

    What apps are you trying that still show the warning? Do you know what engine and SDK version was used?

    Ah, just saw your comment. Does your registry look like this?

    I have Windows 7 64bits with Oculus SDK 0.4.4 and I did not have this problem.
    After adding the registery key "LibOVR" and set the string value "HSWToggleEnabled" to 1, the checkbox appeared in "Oculus Configuration Utiliy" > "Advanced...". When I have changed the registery, my Oculus was off. I turn it on after.
    It doesn't help a lot but that may mean the problem is on your side. :)
