Most Immersive Audio Headphones

Has anyone here found a pair of headphones that they feel are particularly good at both shutting out the outside world and provide great positional sound?

I have not done any research towards this and I'm hoping one of you has, and is willing to share their findings with the community.

Are you that person?

The best sounding headset i've ever owned has to be the TRITTON PRO. I swear to god, if hook this up to an XBOX. Movies sound like your at the movie theater. I never knew how good halo could sound! Unlike stereo headsets with simulated surround sound this headset has Real base! Because this headset has power, even at low levels it sounds crisp. And because it's not simulated surround sound there no funky distortion when playing stereo content.
comfort wise it's so so. Staying on the head isn't that great. I wouldn't want to head bang in it.

I also have a turtle beach ax seven. It really like how it says on when using the oculus rift. It dose a great job of blocking out the world around me; it's so good I can't even hear the TV. the simulated surround sound is good. It's what I would expect of a 50mm speaker headset. This works with like every thing. And the controller lets me mix in chat , game, and phone audio. And it has a built in equalizer.
