Razer Hydra 2

So the hydra has been out of stock for a couple of months now. So even if we receive the Rift we still can't develop proper VR content (just non-VR adaptations, which won't get us anywhere). I think you need to fix this as soon as possible, can you please get Razer to add a 3rd sensor for the head to the hydra and mass produce it?

Also, internally you should fix IPD storage and foam padding velcro.

So I'm getting my rift tomorrow, and still no position sensor! Who cares about 1080p, that can wait, we need position! :/

I still have mine for sale if anyone is interested in buying. I'm not dealing with Ebay anymore since I lost money on the last sale. I'll sell mine for $50 as they were going for. PM me if any of you guys are interested.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Sixense still has some stock of Hydras. We only have the Portal 2 bundle version but we're letting them go for $99.

Doubt this will last very long considering I believe we'll be the only stock left if we're not already.

No longer in production? Just when 3,500 Rifts are poised to make new Rifters in the USA want essential Razer Hydras to go with them? Whatever will these poor souls do?

I was tying to be humorous in my post above.

With MakeVR in progress at Sixense, and a recent post saying "it will be worth the wait", it is hard to imagine no Razer Hydras (current of future model) available to provide the motion control that it is mostly useless without...

No doubt the recent spike in demand caught them off guard, depleting available supply, and it is taking awhile to ramp up production for another batch. There can be significant factory production latency in response to an unexpected surge in demand.

Yes. Fully compatible with the Razer Hydra, and will work with any existing Hydra-enabled game or app.

There is a dedicated thread for the new Sixense Wireless Motion Tracking System over here:
