Rift 3D Product Model

Is there a 3D product viz model of the Rift available for download anywhere? I'd like to include it in a virtual scene (Rift inside the Rift, so meta...) and before I set to building it myself, I thought I'd check if there was one available.

    Hi, cool that there is a 3D-model of the rift already ! I also would need it to visualize the use of the Rift for an exhibition project. I've downloaded and can import the .fbx, but the referenced image files are not on board with the .rar (occlu_1.jpg and accluband_.jpg). Are these missing ? Or do I have to replace them with one of the other files that were in the .rar ?

    Pls let me know.

    Hi Frank,

    I'm not sure to understand what's wrong with the .rar of the Rift model. Everything is in it. The basic maps are in the diffuse folder, you also have a normal map in the normal folder.

    Did you download the right file on the main topic ???

    Hi Manny, thx for reply, i found out now. Importing the .fbx to Softimage created a link to a .jpg file that doesn't exist. I updated the link with the diffusion .tif and "chime" it was there :-)
