Rift/Accessories, 3D Models -!CV1 coming Soon!-

Hey guys !

How are you ?

So I had a lot of fun making the Rift in 3d and I received some requests about other controllers. So I am going to make a huge package, as complete as possible, containing all the main controllers that you might need to show inside your games.

This topic will be updated in the coming days and weeks and months and will also be used for you to be able to make specific requests, ask questions and advices, so that the final package is as complete and efficient as possible !

Here are the coming models, with their release date (Precise dates can be changed according to my personal life or my general laziness and must be taken as estimations).

    Thanks! What's funny is that right now I'm having a bit of trouble making sure every item in the game feels as close to a perfect scale as it can. I was sitting there thinking that I don't actually know the size of a DK2, so it's hard for me to judge it in-game. Then I realized...come next month, I'll just be able to lean in and line up my face with your DK2 model and tell that way. Near clip plane pending. I'm going to have way too much fun with positional tracking.

    These models are great congrats :) I can see a game where the user can pick up a vr rift and the game starts once the user puts on their vr rift so it'll be a rift inside a rift lol. How deep down the rabbit hole can we go is what makes me interested. If you go too deep can you get lost in the rift. Inception is based on different levels of the subconscious, you have to wake-up through the levels until you get back into your physical body. I'd love to design a virtual inception that connects to everyone in the rift so we all see the same thing which is easy to design, basically a multiplayer game but this game will be like a movie. We can see movies in vr so why can't we use live mocap to make it real if you understand what I mean.

    I'm working with the oculus rift for a senior design project and unfortunately although I saw this download months ago, I always figured I could just wait until I really I needed to dl it as it would eliminate the spend hours and hours it would take me to make it myself. Unfortunately the link isn't working now so I;m kicking myself for not getting it when I had the chance. I'm kind of in a time crunch so if anyone has a torrent or updated download link I would be incredibly appreciative.
