Rift/Accessories, 3D Models -!CV1 coming Soon!-

Hey guys !

How are you ?

So I had a lot of fun making the Rift in 3d and I received some requests about other controllers. So I am going to make a huge package, as complete as possible, containing all the main controllers that you might need to show inside your games.

This topic will be updated in the coming days and weeks and months and will also be used for you to be able to make specific requests, ask questions and advices, so that the final package is as complete and efficient as possible !

Here are the coming models, with their release date (Precise dates can be changed according to my personal life or my general laziness and must be taken as estimations).

    Great work a note on the hydra, if you pushing for authenticity, the 1/4 segments in green pulse on and off slowly if you like and can take some reference footage, so you can see how it behaves.

    I have only had the rift for a week so far and am still ploughing through demos, so I haven't activated my unity access so I am not sure how it deals with animated texture map assest.

    the spherical part is maybe 3-5 mm Perspex thick around a black sphere with the green 1/4 segments being inlayed, I can also provide hires images for the bottom info plate if your interested.

    I have no idea how to make an animated texture in Unity, and I have to admit that for the moment it is not my priority. I will see if I can do it sometime later. The VR Jam is my priority right now !

    An other thing...

    I would like to remind you that my models are completely free and can be used in any project you'd like at ONE SINGLE CONDITION that I would like you to respect. You need to credit me for the model.
    I really don't think this is much to ask and yet I already saw three different projects using my models without a trace of my name anywhere.
