Rift for the masses

I saw today in the news a guy is trying to open the vr cafe in Boston before the consumer version is released, and it brought up a few questions. Mainly a good point was made by some feedback to the article

" You wear this thing strapped to your face, pressed against your skin. Sharing such intimate equipment with countless strangers is yucky, just one step above sharing toothbrushes."

It is a very valid point and for those of us considering opening one of these cafe's, which I have been for quite some time, are there any plans to make the rift clean for multiple users to use in a cafe type setting? Maybe this is a question best suited for the new Team Carbon Design to have the answer for?

At least the foam rubber stuff needs to be replaceable so that if you buy a used rift you can get rid of the filthy one from the previous owner.

But "communal" devices, like in parks or cafe's, I think you'll need something else for that, like sanitary wipes or something.. or similar stuff as they put on toilet seats.

But in the end, the rift is probably going to be affordable, so it's unlikely that you'll see many people sharing one device.
In any case... it's not OculusVR's headache I think. Toilet manufacturers don't worry about sanitation when they make the toilets, it's the people who use the toilets that should take care of that.

The Rift itself may be affordable (350), but throw in an Omni(500) , ControlVR(600), KorFX(150), bitchin computer to run it all(1500), then software, and you are above $3,000. With how bad ass the experience will be I am sure people will want to share that. As a matter of fact I am willing to bet people would load up and drive pretty far just to experience VR at this level of sophistication, but not if it smells like Homer Simpson's buttcrack etc. I guess if anyone says anything about smell you can just say it must be your upper lip?
