Skyrim Oculus mod.

Ok so there's an app where it looks just like the oculus but when you're inside of skyrim. (WHICH IS A FANTASTIC APP).
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/360-tour-for-skyrim/id565988817?mt=8

However, we don't have a mod for the oculus rift yet? Could someone possibly start making one like this?

I just wanted to point this out for people to experience what skyrim will be like with the Oculus in the near future.

    Hi Guys!

    This is based on an older internal build already (it already looks and behaves much better than this), but once Vireio 2.0 is out, you will never have to wrestle with a Skyrim HUD mod again.

    My advice is to hold off playing Skyrim for a month or so because you will regret missing out on a a lot of VR fun otherwise.

    I've been modding Skyrim for the past week or so, finally got it working with a few minor issues, still need to make books readable and customize the inventory a bit but after following a few guides online I can say for sure it is currently playable :D, I bought Vorpx and Tridef specifically for this game and atm I would say Vorpx is the best hands down for skyrim, the added middle button functionality to look around the screen really helps and I've had no issues whatsoever using ENB's and other graphics mods, the only problem now is it makes me want a HD Rift more than ever, seriously it can't come out soon enough, anyway if you want to try skyrim yourself my advice is follow the riftmod guide but skip Vireio and use Vorpx instead

    Also add this line into your skyrim.ini, it pulls everything further into the centre of the screen

    [Interface]
    fSafeZoneX=300.0000
    fSafeZoneY=150.0000
    fSafeZoneXWide=300.0000
    fSafeZoneYWide=150.0000

    I also recommend EZ2C Dialogue Menu Mod to resize and move the dialogue menu into the Oculus range

    Hopefully one day they can do all this with one installer, it's a alot of effort but it is well worth it, Skyrim is incredible on the Rift, when I saw the first dragon fly over my head, it was just breathtaking...

    You might want to try this mod for even more immersion, it takes Skyrim to the next level with the Oculus.
    Especially if you use all the naughty mods. ;)

    Immersive First Person Mod
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49036/

    This allows independ profiles with FOV settings galore, viewpoint adjustment for eye hight and depth, headbob adjustment etc.
    You can have turn on head movement or have the head turn to left or right, max angles can be set.

    Anyway, just try it and mess with the settings and profiles. You wont be disappointed.

    General opinion is that the last release of Vireio is the best now for Skyrim (better 3D effect, 3D bugs corrected, more readable interface...).
    "Edge Peek" is no more really useful (and I found it immersion-breaking).
    And Vireio is free !

    I hope Bethesda jumps on the Rift gravy train with their next elder scrolls. So much is already in these games. they scream for vr.

    Vireio is the way to go here, they managed to fix pretty much all the issues now with shadows and stuff. Looking pretty damn good! And as drifter said, its free : D

    Has anyone figured out how to get the books and notes to a readable condition?
    Mine are all really messed up. The book or note is the right size, but the text is tiny and occupies maybe 1/6th of the page, squeezed down into the middle of each page. This makes them completely unreadable.
    Thanks.

    Is anyone else here seeing this problem?

    It seems that the books and notes are all messed up.
    The book or note is the right size, but the text is compressed to a very small section of the middle of the book or note.

    Thanks
