Thoughts on Hero 4?

For any of the more knowledgeable GoPro users out there, will there be a marked benefit to using the Hero 4 to shoot stereoscopic video for VR rather than the Hero 3+? I'm thinking of shooting elements to be composited into unreal or unity scenes, rather than filming 180 degree videos.

    the Dual Hero System wont work til a future firmware update for the cameras
