very cheap hand tracking with color glove

I like the idea with the colored gloves the most, more then any power gloves with wires. I´d prefer patterns instead of colors (or: other colors, this looks too clownesque...).

My plan is to mount two low cost cameras (0,3 MP should do ok) on the oculus rift. One in an angle of 45° down, so it can constantly scan your hands for commands. The other one goes straight with your line of sight, so that your hands will appear in VR if you look down. Maybe in combination with object recognition (gun, sword handle, stick...whatever).
