Virtuix Omni gets new support - full crouching.

This image was leaked on Facebook. Not sure where it was taken but Virtuix have confirmed that it's an R&D project they've been working on with a university. Appears to allow full crouching. Not sure if this is being made specifically for the military but maybe it will become available to the public?

Pretty cool eh? I'd love to see a video of this in action :)

Many easy things are not done by most of us, simply because they require an initial act that is very difficult to do -- saying away from a video screen long enough to even consider getting out the tools and resources and getting busy in the act of physical creation.

The act of making stuff is easy, but actually getting around to doing stuff is hard. We must thank Jan in making the Omni (by actually getting up and DOING it), so we do not have to do it ourselves (which most of us would never get around to with our busy schedule of trying out the latest video games, and feeding our faces). Not everybody enjoys the act of creation, but thankfully Jan is one such busy guy. Thanks Jan!

Oops is right. Extracting an embedded quote from your post failed there. I fixed my errant post. Thanks for the heads up on that...
