Will there be a new Dev Kit?

Will there be a new dev kit coming out any time soon? Because of the consumer product getting closer and closer?

From a hardware stand point are we looking a huge difference between the DK2 and consumer version?

It's got to be different enough that you wouldn't want to release DK2 only tested software for the consumer version. I hope they are planning some kind of early access for developers.

No, there won't be another dev kit. Next release is the CV1.

Do you have any idea how soon developers could get their hands on a CV1 Rift?

Oculus don't need them anymore..It's already "developed"

Just think..NO more continuous updates and fixes and re-fixes evry two weeks!
    Yay.
"Developers" can have a rest and just enjoy the fruits of their wonderful experiences with the old development kits.
    No more nightmares!!

I wonder if Cyber would be willing to convert the "might" into a "will" or "won't" for us :D.

The controllers are set to launch in the first half of 2016. That is all I know. Ha!

Where did this come from Cyber? No offense, but I'm not used to hearing you report breaking news.
