Question

App Key Error

I have a few apps I'd been working on which are on my developer account which are all based off of the same project - due to this I've managed to use the same app key across a few projects (silly, I know).

Would this potentially be causing a problem I have with achievements / leaderboards?  One of the apps works fine, however another app doesn't seem to register any achievements or leaderboards.

If so, is it easy to change the app key over?  Unfortunately the one I'm having issues with is the one that I'm actually looking to release!

For reference I'm using a slightly modified 4.27 Oculus UE Build.

Yes, that can absolutely cause problems.

Achievements, leaderboards, entitlements, etc.. are tied to the specific App ID/App Key on the Meta backend. If multiple projects are accidentally pointing to the same App ID, you can end up querying the wrong backend data or conflicting environments.

The good news is that changing the App ID/App Key is usually straightforward in Unreal.

Just make sure:
• the achievements/leaderboards are configured for the correct app in the dashboard
• your test users have access to that app/channel

I used the Oculus Blueprint Plugin features with the achievements/leaderboards and it's resolved all of those issues (although I've found some others).
