https://iwsdk.dev/guides/10-spatial-ui-uikitml.html describes how to statically set up UI using .uikitml files and how to add event listeners, but does not document how to change "properties" of UIKit objects. These "properties" are documented somewhat at https://pmndrs.github.io/uikit/docs/getting-started/components-and-properties  These "properties" are not JavaScript properties. There is an undocumented setProperties({prop: value}) method to set these "properties", but no getProperty() or getProperties() methods. Is setting UIKit "properties" documented anywhere?

Hello Meta team, Our business verification has been stuck in "In Review" for more than three weeks with no update, no request for additional documents, and no email from Meta. Details:- Business name: KT VALUE KAMIL TRYBAŃSKI- Business Portfolio name: Finansowy GPS- Business Portfolio ID: 1589546669030487- Current status: "In Review" (Business Settings > Security Center) What I have already checked:- All submitted information (legal name, address) matches the submitted documents exactly.- No pending "request for more information" appears anywhere in Business Settings or in email.- Business Support Home (the in-app help assistant) offers no way to open a case or reach a human for this specific issue - it only loops back to generic help articles. Could someone from the Meta team please take a look and escalate this verification for manual review, or let me know what might be missing so I can resubmit correctly? Thank you.

Hi everyone,We’re currently facing a critical issue with our Meta Horizon Store release, which is scheduled to launch today, and we’re trying to find any possible way to reach someone who can help us understand or resolve what has happened. We originally had two scheduled submissions. One was an older submission that we no longer needed, while the newer one was the correct release and had already been approved and scheduled. To avoid having two submissions publishing one after another, we unscheduled and deleted the older one.Immediately after doing that, the newer approved submission unexpectedly changed in two ways:The binary that had been associated with the approved release disappeared from the submission. The submission itself changed from a Full Release into a Pre-order submission. The correct binary still exists in our developer account and remains approved, so the build itself has not been lost. However, it is no longer associated with the approved release. We immediately created a

I got an email from Meta after applying for the Start Program. It looks like I’m in, but I just need to confirm. Could anyone help me please?

I’m using Godot to build an XR app on Meta Quest 3. I’d like to make LLm calls to Meta Muse or another LLM. Are there any meta APIs or SDKs I can use to helpme do this in Godot?Victor

Yesterday my Meta Quest 3 updated from version 2.6 to 2.7. According to patch notes, this update is still in the PTC and my device is not in it, so I don't know if there's other issues also there.Launching an Unity App that worked well in version 2.6, in 2.7 the inputs fields fail to show the System Keyboard. Immersive debugger only shows one warning in the first attempt at interacting with one:hiding input field is not supported when using game activityInteracting with the input fields also makes the program freeze for a bit.Trying to make the keyboard appear with code or even changing the TMP_InputField code doesn't work either. Has anyone had the same issue? Any workarounds you can think of? Also, could this be related to this other discussion? Edit: Unity version is 6.3 LTS and I'm using the latest version of Meta SDK. All UI and input related packages are also up to date

Hello everyone,I am trying to create a new Meta for Developers account, but I have hit a major roadblock during the SMS verification step and could really use some community advice. The Issue:When I enter my phone number (+81) to receive the 6-digit verification code, the SMS never arrives on my phone. What I have already tried (to rule out basic issues):Waited 24+ hours between attemptsConfirmed my number is correct with the country codeChecked that my phone can receive SMS from other services and that I don't have unknown senders blockedTried on different browsers (Chrome, Firefox), incognito mode, and a different Wi-Fi networkRestarted my phoneThe new problem:After several attempts, I am now seeing a warning that says: "You may want to slow down or stop to avoid a restriction on your account. We limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time." I have stopped all attempts to avoid making it worse. My question:Since I cannot even complet

I started world in Meta Horizon and moved world to Unity.  How do I adjust or change the lighting in Unity? I'm having shadows and bright spots in the world. Could it be the procedural daytime skybox?

How would I get started on developing for Quest 2 on macOS? I know I could probably shove this into an LLM such as Muse or something else but I would rather ask it here. Last time I tried to dip my toes into VR I was on Windows. I know things are a bit different on the macOS side of things, any macOS developers out here?  I wanted to make a Unity-based game as I have used Unity before and I'm a bit more familiar with Unity's version of C# over Unreal's C++.I noticed the challenge page encourages people to develop for more hands-based and/or sit-down experiences, but can I still create a game or an entertainment application that's still has controller usage or do I need to be hands-first above all else?If I develop a hands-based application, should I target Quest 3S and higher? I only own a Quest 2 at this time. I know the Quest 2 can do hand controls but I remember seeing the Quest 3, Pro, and 3S all do hand-based controls significantly better due to either additional cameras and/

My entry for Meta VR Start Developer is heavy on hand-tracking. I want to introduce different hand models that are available for in-app purchase. Are there any good assets and tutorials I can follow to allow this feature?

Hiya, long-time gamedev here, entering the Start competition. I'm in the middle of writing an entirely native Vulkan-based engine, immersive VR, hands-first controls, and I'm having a blast. Performance is great, and the main reason I'm skipping the usual engines is so that I can try novel things, right up at the hardware level, without working backwards through existing engine abstractions like scene graphs, materials, and lighting pipelines.I'm looking to connect with similar folks to chat, brainstorm, and otherwise exchange war stories. Who else has gone full native? Thanks!

Hi,I'm trying to connect the standalone Meta XR Simulator (207.0.0.18.123) with Unity (6000.3.17f1). I work for a company that deals with meta quest XR applications and have had reoccurring issues on multiple different headsets regarding controller and UI not working as intended.Controllers will often not be detected until I remove and reinsert the battery. This will happen numerous times during a day during development.Furthermore I've found that UI elements such as the unknown sources button on the new UI interface do not work and require a headset restart to function. These issues have reoccurred for weeks and are costing my company and our clients time and resources.Appreciate any assistance.

Hi. My Facebook and Meta Developer accounts were banned without telling me the actual reason. FB page was unlocked then but Meta Developer account was not - any action redirects me to https://developers.facebook.com/account_status/error/. When I try to to click "Submit a support request" there to open https://developers.facebook.com/account_status/disputes/ it opens a blank page. It is blank in both Chrome and Firefox. In Network tab I see that all assets were loaded with 200 OK status but the page is still empty.

I am a solo developer building a game with Kotlin and Meta Spatial SDK 0.14.0 on Quest 3. I test with a production-signed, fully AOT-compiled release APK.My game has an on-screen counter labelled “FPS”, but that counter actually measures gameplay update callbacks per second. It does not measure rendered frames. When it shows 36, that does not mean the headset is rendering at 36 FPS.In an earlier recording, I measured the same time interval using two separate sources:Meta OVR Metrics: approximately 72 rendered frames per second.Perfetto, counting main gameplay update callbacks: approximately 37 updates per second.Rendering continues at around 72 FPS, while gameplay updates happen roughly half as often and physical movement looks less smooth. I verified the update callback count in Perfetto, so the slowdown is not just an incorrect HUD reading.I have observed update slowdowns in multiple levels. The simultaneous render/update readings above come from that earlier recording; my latest off

We host a VR application on our server that we deploy via Meta Horizon Services to headsets in shared mode. How do we enable the PROJECT_MEDIA permission for this application?

Anyone know the expected date for Meta Quest's WebGPU-WebXR layer? i just purchased a MetaQuest 3, to complement my Quest 2, for WebXR development *with* WebGPU ( Compute-Shader only Voxel/SDF engine ) and found Meta-Browser's  doesn't support WebGPU-WebXR, a 'Chromium 134' stable feature.  Suprising since Quest 3  is a "Flagship of XR" device ( in terms of sales/popularity/development ).Reference check here:https://immersive-web.github.io/webxr-samples/webgpu/i've web-searched extensively yet not found a workaround/flag to set or anything to do other than the suggestion to build a WebGPU copy into WebGL context ( wasting bandwidth/VRAM on copying the XR canvas? ) Am i missing anything?Thx---

Quick eligibility question for the team or admins regarding Venezuelan participants/founders in Meta VR Start Developer Competition 2026 hackaton Venezuela isn't explicitly listed under the non-eligible regions in Section 2(b) of the official rules (unlike Brazil, Quebec, Cuba, Iran, etc.). However, given OFAC compliance standards, I want to be 100% sure before putting in the dev work. If a Venezuelan developer participates: Are Venezuelan individual residents eligible to enter and claim cash prizes directly? If not as an individual, is a Venezuelan founder participating through a US-registered LLC (with a US business bank account) fully eligible to submit and receive prize payouts? Would appreciate any clarification on this. Thanks!

We are developing some metrics for our games that require gyroscope and accerlerometer data (angular velocity). (We don't necessarily need them real-time, even just offline for post-analysis will be very useful for us).I understand this data was available in OVR: Get Raw Sensor Data | Meta Horizon OS Developers.I am just trying to understand how to access this data currently. We are using OpenXR to develop our games. Is there a pluggin we can use of OpenVR when designing our games that will allow us to store the gyroscope and accelerometer data too ?

Sol Protocol (App ID: 10067260370018011) launched today on the Meta Horizon Store. It's purchasable in-headset, but the web store page still shows it as "Pre-order", and reviews are disabled on the PDP.PDP: https://www.meta.com/it-it/experiences/sol-protocol/10067260370018011/Support case: 00011508So our entire web funnel is dead on our biggest day, and we're losing the day-one review window which we can't recover later. In App Submissions our full release shows as [approved/live] with release date Sep 19, 2026, 9:00 AM CEST.Is there anyone who can look at the listing state today, or point me to the fastest escalation path on case 00011508? Happy to provide anything you need.Thanks.

My app (Warden of the Isles) was scheduled to release on Oct 6 at 12:01 AM, with the submission approved on Oct 5. Since the scheduled time it has been stuck in a half-released state, and several things are still inconsistent today. What happened at launch:The dashboard showed the release as "Released", but the binary stayed on "Pending release".Every action in the "..." menu on the distribution row (Publish submission / Unschedule / Delete) was greyed out, so nothing could be done from my side. The store page lost its price/Buy button in every region, and the app disappeared from store search.Workaround (about 12 hours later): I created a new submission for the same build, got it re-approved, and manually released it. The store page became purchasable again. What is still broken:The app overview shows "Release status: Scheduled" even though the app is live and selling. The same card shows "Production (Store) Build: 1.0.15" in green. The Release Channels page shows no Production (Store) /

Hi everyone,I’m Mark, founder of ClubMixed. After 30 years working in music and media, I’m exploring how virtual venues can bring artists, DJs and audiences together. We’re preparing a new update to GO CLUBBING VR on Meta Quest, including two venues. The Mars Dome combines DJ mixes and performances with video and music-reactive visuals around the dome. The Underground focuses on emerging artists, with twin screens and support for two live video streams to bring audiences closer to the performance. Our aim is to create places where people can spend time together, discover artists and return for another music session.I’d love to hear from developers building social or music experiences. What makes a virtual music venue worth returning to? How do you balance visual immersion with comfort during longer listening sessions? What have you learned about bringing people together for scheduled events? We’d also welcome community members interested in giving feedback on the upcoming update.Looking for

My account is 18+ and I can download 18+ games but when I try to access a release channel game it’s says I’m under 18+, I’ve been dealing with this issue for 2 days now. Back then when I got early access to a game it worked but now it isn’t. No Meta Employee that I’ve met could help me with this problem. My account age is also verified which makes it weirder.

The Spatial Editor exports Compositions as .glxf files, which the Immersive Web SDK appears not to understand.  The constituent models are exported as .gltf file with the textures in .jpg files which can be used as AssetType.GLTF. What is the route to use Spatial Editor Compositions with the IWSDK?
