Question

Meta Horizon Start application page unavailable — cannot apply, competition deadline Nov 18

Hello Meta Developer Support Team,

I am trying to join the Meta Horizon Start program so I can compete in the Meta VR Start Developer Competition 2026. My entry is DreamSuite, in the Productivity track, Adapted or Significantly Updated division.

I have an active Meta developer account with Developer Access enabled and verified. My developer team is Humank1nd, and my app DreamSuite is in development in the Developer Center.

The problem: on the Start program page (https://developers.meta.com/vr/discover/programs/start/), clicking "Apply today" redirects to https://developers.meta.com/vr/start/member/, which displays "This page isn't available. This page may have been removed, or you may not have access." I get the same result signed in, in more than one browser, and on my phone. The Devpost organizer email for the competition links to the same page, so there is no second route in.

I can see other developers reporting this exact issue here, and one post says support confirmed on October 9 that it was escalated to the internal team. It is still not working for me as of October 25.

The competition rules require Start membership in good standing by the submission deadline, November 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific. I am ready to apply today. The page is the only thing in the way.

Could you please clarify:

1. Is there a current working application URL, or an alternative way to apply while this page is unavailable?

2. Can my account be added to the existing escalation for this issue?

3. Is there any way to verify whether my organization is sufficient, or whether I need something else in place first?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

    Try this link, it works:

    https://developers.meta.com/vr/discover/programs/start/

It should redirect correctly to the application page here:

    https://developers.meta.com/vr/programs/start/apply/
