Howdy gimbalstudio.2024!

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing an ANR crash, I get how frustrating that can be.

One of the more common causes for that crash is that the main thread is being blocked for too long, which can be caused be a few different things. Something you could try using is the Unity Profiler to check for bottlenecks and long running operations on the main thread, as this could help you identify what specifically the blocker is.

If you're still running into the issue after using the Unity Profiler, I'd also suggest you check out Unity's optimization documentation to ensure there are no heavy operations, deadlocks, or other blocker issues that would be causing the crash. I can link their documentation below.

Unity Optimization
Unity Profiler

Hopefully you found some of this helpful, and if not please feel free to let me know and we can investigate further!

Thanks for that
Yeah I kick off leaderboard and achievement downloads as soon as the app starts so that may bottleneck some things depending on internet speed etc.
I think I'll make a simple opening scene that just has the company logo and then loads the main menu scene after 1-2 seconds.

Cheers
