Released Quest app missing from exact-name search; other apps in same team are found
I’m troubleshooting a post-release discovery problem with our app Avenpulse: VR Fitness & Flow (app ID 1066650589527697). It released on October17 and the public product page displays a purchase button:
https://www.meta.com/experiences/avenpulse-vr-fitness-flow/1066650589527697/
Searching the Quest web store for either “Avenpulse” or the full title does not return it in the results checked. In the same browser and platform selection, our other apps Vistalyra and Nut Sort VR are returned for their names. This is an exact-brand search question, not a request for featured placement.
Checks completed: Released/Public in App overview; Production(Store) contains version0.01/code52; Quest2, Quest3family and Future devices are supported; Quest2/3 are not purchase-blocked; all platform requirements are complete. The English(US) title/descriptions and five relevant search keywords were populated. No purchase/installation failure is claimed, since we have not verified a new customer transaction.
Today we submitted a metadata-only refresh adding the exact brand as a search keyword (replacing one general term). The dashboard confirms Submitted; the existing released binary is unchanged. This is a repair attempt, not a confirmed fix.
Meta Developer Support case #87265 is Investigating / routed to Product team. I found reports of backend indexing repairs, and a separate half-release case fixed by a new build, but that report also lacked a Production channel; ours is present.
Has anyone resolved this precise situation? Is there a developer-visible indexing eligibility flag or a supported metadata refresh procedure we should check? A documented indexing window or confirmation that this requires a backend repair would help us avoid unnecessary build churn. I can provide focused screenshots to Meta privately.
Developer disclosure: these are our apps at Extrude Studio. Thank you.
