URGENT: Flipped "Early Access" by mistake for 1hr at launch — game now completely vanished from "New Releases" & traffic dropped to zero

Hi everyone,

We are facing a devastating issue regarding our newly launched game, "Daumier: Lila & Ghost". Our early metrics prior to launch were highly promising (with a daily reach of over 5,000 and strong conversion rates). However, due to a critical dashboard misoperation right at the launch window, our game's visibility has completely tanked, and we are desperate to reach a Meta community manager or Store team member to help restore our metadata status.

Here is exactly what happened:

  1. Right at the moment of our scheduled launch, due to a temporary misoperation in the Developer Dashboard, the "Early Access" (EA) tag was accidentally enabled for our release.
  2. We realized the mistake immediately and managed to change the status back to a Full Release within just one hour.
  3. However, during that brief one-hour window, the system seemed to have already processed the EA status. After we flipped it back to Full Release, our game completely disappeared from the "Freshly Released" / "New Releases" discovery sections on the Meta Horizon Store.
  4. As a direct result, our store traffic suffered a massive, unnatural cliff-dive. Even though our pre-launch organic traffic and engagement data were excellent, the algorithm now treats our game as if it has already passed its launch window, completely stripping away our initial launch momentum.

Why we need urgent help:
It appears that toggling the Early Access flag on and off within such a short time frame triggered a backend routing issue or metadata conflict. The store algorithm seems to have flagged our launch window as "completed" under the EA tag, so when we switched back to Full Release, we were entirely excluded from the crucial New Releases algorithmic discovery surfaces.

Our team is part of the Meta Horizon Start program, and this game is our absolute passion. Missing out on the day-one organic visibility due to a dashboard misunderstanding is completely breaking our launch.

We would be incredibly grateful if any Meta staff could assist us with the following:

  1. Can the Store team manually refresh or reset our App's launch status so that the algorithm recognizes it correctly as a newly debuted Full Release?
  2. Is there a known way to restore a game's eligibility for the "New Releases" section if its metadata was glitched during the first hour of launch?
  3. If there is a Meta Store representative or a Start community manager who can escalate this ticket, please let us know. We are ready to provide our Organization ID and App ID immediately.

Thank you so much for your time and help. We are really hoping we can get this resolved before our launch momentum is permanently lost.

You’ll need to submit a ticket through the developer support portal. I’m pretty sure the moderator and community manager here never intervene in these issues and would only tell you to do the same.

Update: My game appeared in the “new releases” twice on 15 Oct and 21 Oct. Each time last about 3 hours, then disappered. During the 3 hour on “new release” it obtain click-to-conversion rate at 5%, click-to-wishlist rate at 20%, which I think is not the statics of a bad game. However I still dropped from the recomanded channels and can be merely seen by players. I tried all efforts I can do but it is still not working.
