Frequent Crashes After Horizon Desktop Editor Update (210.0.0.3.670)

Hello, after upgrading Horizon Desktop Editor to version 210.0.0.3.670, the editor crashes for me several times within an hour. The application just closes unexpectedly. This never happened before the upgrade.

I’ve tested this under the following conditions:

  • On two separate networks

  • On two different computers

  • With a fresh new world

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new world

  2. Create a grabbable shape

  3. Repeatedly grab and release it

The app will crash after some time.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

True. Yesterday I downloaded a new standalone editor v212 (Worlds-Desktop-Editor-v212.0.0.9.643.msi) from here: https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/learn/documentation/get-started/install-desktop-editor

I worked with it for about 3h, no crash experienced. Also, I can't reproduce problem as I shown in original post.

Hey Pastew, I'm sorry you're running into frequent crashes. If you can send a report in through the desktop editor bug reporting form, and then file a support ticket in our creator support center our support team can take a look at your issue.

I have the same problem. I've even tested it in published and official games, and it happens there too.

This week, after the update, it seems the problem has been solved. At least it's infinitely less common.

Yes, unfortunately I also have to take back what I said — crashes are still happening, but a bit less often.
