I need to replace default Meta avatars with custom in-game avatars. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any documentation about doing this.

I saw in another post that this is not possible. But the world 'Marble Grow & Fight' the default avatar is changed to a marble.

Any assistance from the community is appreciated.

They most likely used some smart coding. For example by setting the players locomotion speed to zero and hiding the original player, then translating the 'player' movement to the in-game avatar. There's also a game where you 'turn into' a bear which I believe uses a similar technique.

Yea, currently no way for us to import an animated model and control its animations right now. Some worlds may have access to additional features that are being tested or a clever workaround like Rayden4000 explained.
