Hey everyone! I'm in need of some help. I was looking to import an object with a texture that grabbed from the Asset Browser in Blender. I'm not sure how to get the FBX file and the texture into Horizons though. I tried to bake the texture, but I don't think I did it right. If anyone has any insights, I'd appreciate the help! Thank you!
Can we get this world capacity up?.. Already limited to what I can do in a primitive shapes because of capacity. Using just a few solid CMIs puts me over unless I simplify the mesh to the point i might as well be building in Primitive shapes.
I'm working on implementing Aim Assist in my game and it's mostly going well. I am at a stage where I need to be able to identify the player that is closest to the aiming direction of another player. The Aim Assist Documentation explains "Consider the game Super Rumble as a usage example. A system could be created that gathers a list of all players currently in play. The system could then periodically iterate through the list of players to find the player closest to the aiming direction of an individual with aim assist, and then set this player as the aim assist target."How do I find the player who is "closest to the aiming direction of an individual" ?
Looking to fix or figure out the following..1.Players don't collide with grabbable objects.2.Objects like tubes switch to a box collider if they're interactive.. Not allowing for other objects to go inside of the tube. 3.Some objects with motion don't detect collision. Ex a grabbable ball with physics does but a remote control car does not. Even with a basic box collider attached.
Hey just want to say i have been active in helping in my area of expertise witch includes blender anything audie related any issues when it comes to pcs hardware and software or just advise on specs and I have started to learn typescript so feel free if need anything to ping me regards ketchup
Just saying hey! How everyone is well and ready for the future!
Would it be possible to get a dark mode setting on the forums? The Documentation section would also be great. This is painful to read late at night even with my phone brightness turned all the way down.
I've seen examples of worlds that allow a first-person view on mobile, however, I haven't been able to find any documentation on how to do this. Can someone enlighten me or point me to the documentation for this?
This is what I have been doing for most of my 3 years in Horizon Worlds. I am looking for people to collaborate with who are “Partners” (maybe not in this group, I am not sure) to build out a School (already roughly started and published) as well as Certification for those learning Basic and Intermediate music for VR and Mobile Web.There is a long list of people who have helped me to get to this stage but almost all of them are now working for Meta, so I am looking for some fresh talent for programming (typescript and codeblocks) as well as Blender and Unity design.* I also want to post a similar message in “What I am Building” section with pictures. Please let me know if there is a rule against posting similar if in two different places as I don’t want to be “That Guy”.
Really like the idea of the challenges, maybe we could pin the current ones running and also mention in the subject that this is ongoing and once done change it to closed. Will help keep a track after we have a bunch of them.SeeingBlue
Hey all! Learning this new way to learn, chat, and collaborate. My creation story is joining Horizon Worlds late 2021 and going on so many magical virtual adventure world hops and meeting so many amazing creators that took me into build mode in the headset and shared countless hours creating and collaborating together. And of course so many wonderful hours hanging out and having great conversations with cool people on places like, a moving train, the moon, the top of a giant mushroom, and many many other wonderful experiences. Making cool stuff together and testing it was such a lightning in a bottle, full brain creativity magic. Not as excited about the dystopian feeling of solo computer creation, but hoping to learn some new ways to create as we transition to this new forum. 💖
Good Day Meta Team,Now that Meta is opening CMI to the general public, would you please confirm that members of the MHCP can now freely share CMI, without restriction, to all Meta Horizon users, whether MHCP or not?Confirming since we are all still under NDA.Thanks.
Can we have labels for feedback and bugs ?
Will the old feedback and bugs be migrated over? If not should the users re-post them or are they already forwarded to the team?
My first post. I think. Did I do this right? Anyways, looking forward to using this forum, instead of discord! quality over quantity eh? eh?
