Question

Is there a way to have weekly leaderboards?

I can't figure this one out. Codeblocks have the ability to set the timeframe for leaderboards (ex. weekly, monthly, etc) but there doesn't seem to be a way to set this anywhere now that Codeblocks is not available.

How does one set a timeframe for leaderboards so that the leaderboard is cleared out on, say, a weekly basis? Is everyone just coding their own?

A weekly leaderboard isn't managed by codeblocks, it is managed by the creation of the leaderboard under systems. You can set the reset period and whether or not to include a PPV in the reset.

I must be blind. I don't see a way to reset the leaderboard.

There's nothing on here either: https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/reference/2.0.0/core_ileaderboards

The manual points to a "auto-reset" property in leaderboards but I don't see a way to access that?

It must have been public at some point because a lot of creators in the past had used it and referred to it.

Was it mistakenly removed at some point? We need this back asap for the competition.

Would you happen to know if Meta plan to bring it back? If so, when?

Based on the limited functionality of leaderboards, there's no real way of coding the weekly reset ourselves since, AFAIK, setScoreForPlayer() only works for players currently in the world. So if a player never come back to the world, their score on the leaderboard cannot be reset.

That is a good point, but sadly no. I didn't even know it was gone, they didn't tell us anything and haven't said anything about it. 🙁
