I need help recovering my Instagram account, which has been locked due to suspicious activity. I have tried the available recovery methods, but I still cannot access my account.

My account details:

- Account created: 2018

- Phone number and email: Updated in 2025

What happened:

Recently, someone threatened me, saying they would get my Instagram account banned. Approximately 10 minutes later, I found that my account had been locked due to suspicious activity.

I cannot confirm whether the threat and the lock are connected, but the timing has made me concerned.

The problem I am facing:

I know my password and have been using this account since 2018. I updated my phone number and added my email address in 2025. However, Instagram only asks me to verify my identity using my old phone number, which I no longer have access to.
