I don't like draining the battery when I'm not using my Ray-Ban meta gen 2, at night I turn the glasses off and shutdown the meta app. In the morning when I'm ready to use them should I start the app first then pair the glasses to the phone? Newby here only day 3. Reason I ask is somewhere when starting the glasses I could connect to Bluetooth but the app didn't get the connection. I had to start over and reset the glasses, uninstall app then install the app. It was pretty frustrating, just want a simple start up.

      Hmm usually the glasses connected automatically and start the Meta AI-App as soon as they are connected (takes about ten seconds in my case) when they are turned on.

      The glasses connect usually over two channels. One for the Audio only and the second for controlling the app and data transfer. 

      Make sure your glasses are connected both ways. 

      Sometimes the glasses tell me they have no connection. I just turn them off and on again and they work fine again. 

      Hopefully that will help you resolving your issue.
