Apple App Review requires MFi authorization for Ray-Ban Meta SDK integration

Hi Meta Wearables team,

We are using the Meta Wearables Device Access Toolkit for iOS to integrate with Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

During Apple App Review, Apple requested confirmation that our app is authorized by the accessory manufacturer to work with the MFi accessory. They specifically mentioned the MFi Product Plan form and PPID.

What is the correct private support channel or process to request MFi Product Plan authorization / PPID confirmation from Meta for Apple App Review?

We can provide app-specific details privately if needed.

Thank you.

As of June 25, 2026 Meta has app store submission warning in iOS documentation.

    https://wearables.developer.meta.com/docs/develop/dat/build-integration-ios/

"App Store Submission Warning: Publishing to the App Store is not currently supported, but we plan to do so in the future. In the meantime, you can share your integration with test users via our release channels. As a result, since the SDK currently uses the ExternalAccessory framework, it will lead to App Store rejection due to Apple’s MFi program and privacy manifest requirements."
