Feature Request: Add Trail Run and Track Run activity profiles to the Meta AI data field (Garmin)
The Meta AI data field from the Connect IQ store declares compatibility with the generic "Run" profile but not with the separate "Trail Run" or "Track Run" profiles. On a Garmin watch these are distinct activity profiles, and a Connect IQ data field only shows up as an option on the profiles it explicitly declares. So the Meta AI field can't be added to Trail Run or Track Run at all, and the live integration (voice stats, status LED, autocapture) is unavailable for those activities.
To reproduce:
1. On a supported Garmin watch, open a Trail Run or Track Run activity profile.
2. Go to the data screens setup and try to add the Meta AI field.
3. It isn't selectable. The same field adds fine to the generic Run profile.
This matters because trail runners and track athletes are core use cases for hands-free, eyes-up data, arguably more than road runners, since on a track you don't want to break stride and on a trail you're watching footing. Adding these two activity types to the field's compatibility list looks like a small manifest change rather than new functionality.
Confirmed working on the generic Run profile, so this is purely a profile-compatibility gap, not a connection issue.
