Stuck at "Select Glasses" after re-login — no skip option, no glasses owned

Hi team,

 

Adding another data point to this issue (see thread 1383935): users without AI glasses get stuck at the "Select Glasses" screen with no way to reach the Meta AI assistant.

 

My case:

 

1. Installed the Meta AI iOS app and logged in with a Meta account — the Meta AI chat worked normally for a full day.

 

2. After logging out and logging back in, the app forces the "Select Glasses" (选择眼镜) first-time setup. There is no Skip / "Set up later" button.

 

3. Tapping the X at the top-left only shows: "退出设置？你需要重新登录Meta 账户并重新开始设置眼镜。" Exiting setup forces me to log in again — infinite loop.

 

4. Deleting and reinstalling the app does not help: fresh install + login lands on the same screen.

 

Expected behavior: users without glasses should be able to skip glasses pairing and use the Meta AI assistant in the app.

 

Request: please add a "Skip for now" / "Set up later" option on the Select Glasses screen.

 

Device: iPhone (iOS), Meta AI iOS app (latest from App Store). No glasses owned.

    Dude, stop trolling. Just click the BLUE option, not the one beneath it!!! If you log out, you have to set up another account from scratch, it doesn't save your account. If you don't have AI glasses, then DON'T click the option to set up a device ffs.
