How to export an executable from Unity 5 for the Oculus Rift

"Oculus recommends using Unity 5.1.1p3 and the Utilities package."

Unity 5: http://unity3d.com/get-unity

Utilities Package:https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/game-engines/0.1.0-beta/Oculus_Utilities_for_Unity_5/

After importing the Utilities Package and exporting with VR support checked or unchecked I get this 'non vr' menu.
What is the deal? Am I supposed to see the Oculus Rift in the 'select monitor' list? My old direct to rift apps from Unity 4 are still working but I can't get anything that I export from Unity 5 to work.

No, the Rift won't be shown in the drop-down but it should automatically work.

What runtime do you have installed? You should have the latest.

Yeah, that's the latest. What version of Unity do you have?

Are you able to use VR inside the editor? It should show up in 3D on the Rift w/ head-tracking.

Maybe it's an old project you ported to Unity 5. Can you try creating a fresh project just to see if it works?

Brand new project with nothing in it but a skybox and the OVR Utilities package. I'll try a new one with just the OVR Utilities and report back with the results.

    edit: Same result, headtracking only

You can try updating Unity to 5.1.2p3, though I thought your version should work.

Does the Config Util say anything is wrong and does the demo scene work?

Maybe provide these log files if you can. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=23521

Unity is telling me that there are no updates available. 5.1.2f1 is the newest, but I will download 5.1.2p3 manually and see what happens.

Ok, I have 5.1.2p3 installed now, but there is no change. Same issue.
